Friends for the Abbott Marshlands is set to sponsor several events throughout the month of April.
On April 10, there is a canoe/kayak trip on the Abbott Marshlands at 10:00 a.m.
Participants will meet at Bordentown Beach at the end of Park Street. The trip begins on the Crosswicks Creek and continues to Watson Woods.
Rentals are not available.

On April 12 from 9:15 to 11 a.m., there will be a light rail tour into the 19th century with Barbara Ross.
Participants should meet at the Bordentown RiverLINE light rail station at 9:15 a.m.
Tickets are $1.50.

Participants may opt for a brief post-trip walk or ride to Bordentown Beach for a better view of Crosswicks Creek and the canal’s Lock One.
The same day from 1 to 3 p.m., there will be a walk at Point Breeze, the home of Joseph Bonaparte with archaeologist Michael Gall.
On April 13 from 1 to 4 p.m, there will be a tour of Watson House located at 151 Westcott Avenue, Hamilton.
On the same day from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., there be a reading of the original novella, “The Rooms,” by writer, playwright, and U.S. 1 arts editor Dan Aubrey at Bow Hill Mansion.
