The Rotary Club of Bordentown will host a craft mocktail-making workshop Jan. 29 aimed at introducing participants to the growing nonalcoholic, or “NoLo,” beverage movement.
The hands-on event, presented by Zero Proof Go in partnership with Marcello’s of Bordentown, will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Marcello’s and is limited to 40 attendees.
According to organizers, the evening will combine education, tasting and interactive elements. The program includes a welcome reception with hors d’oeuvres, an educational seminar on mocktails, a guided tasting of two to three signature drinks, and a zero-proof tasting flight. Participants will also have the opportunity to make an infused simple syrup to take home and will receive a printed recipe booklet.
Attendees will have opportunities to win raffle prizes, including a $250 NoLo-themed gift basket.
Tickets cost $75 per person. Organizers say that proceeds will support the Rotary Club’s community service initiatives. The event is designed for those interested in wellness-focused entertaining, modern mocktails or a unique social experience without alcohol, organizers said.
