Alumni to return to BRHS stage

The Bordentown Regional High School Theater Club is set to present the 2014 Alumni Arts Festival.

The festival is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. May 9 at the Bordentown Performing Arts Center, 318 Ward Ave., Bordentown.

Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door. Proceeds benefit BRHS senior scholarships.

The evening is set to feature performances from over a dozen alumni cast members of Legally Blonde (2012 Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award Winner for Outstanding Musical), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and other past award-winning BRHS theater productions.

These actors are returning to the Bordentown Performing Arts Center stage from colleges across the country to help raise money for BRHS student scholarships.

Performances from several current Bordentown theater students will also be presented throughout the night.

BRHS is home to International Thespian Society Troupe 6803, which has won awards for both its productions and individual students at the New Jersey Theatre Night Awards, the Greater Philadelphia Cappies, the New Jersey State Thespian Festival, and the International Thespian Festival.
