Olde Nottingham Tavern unveils new indoor-outdoor patio

·

The Olde Nottingham Tavern, affectionately known by regulars as “the Nott,” celebrated a significant milestone last week with the official opening of its new indoor-outdoor patio.

The grand opening event was attended by local officials including Hamilton Mayor Jeff Martin, Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo, and Assemblywoman Tennielle McCoy.

Under the new ownership of husband-and-wife team Sam and Lucy Moscarello, the Nott has been revitalized to preserve its longstanding place in the community. Since taking over the historic establishment in 2023, the Moscarellos have added a brand new kitchen, a front dining room for private events and an outdoor area.

The latest addition, the new indoor-outdoor patio features exposed wood, elevated ceilings, a new bar and modern amenities including mounted TVs and heaters, alongside the addition of a new pizza oven.

“We are excited to bring a full menu with great food, drinks, and an atmosphere that’s truly family oriented,” said co-owner Lucy Moscerello. "When you’re looking for a good time, just ‘meet me at the Nott.’”

Guests at the ribbon cutting had the opportunity to tour the redesigned interior, experience the updated menu, and celebrate the next chapter of a Hamilton staple.

“The Olde Nottingham Tavern is a cornerstone of our community’s history, and the Moscarellos have done a spectacular job breathing new life into it. This investment is not just in a building, but in our local economy and the quality of life for Hamilton residents. We are proud to support this local business and look forward to the many new memories that will be made at ‘the Nott’,” Martin said.

The Olde Nottingham Tavern is located at 9 Mercer St. in Hamilton Square. Web: nottinghamtavern.com.
