Parents Against Vaping is continuing its Clear the Vapor Conversations, this year, a yearlong series of talks inspired by the organization’s 2024 Clear the Vapor conference. The 2024 series drew nearly 10,000 registrants.
Like the conference, Clear the Vapor Conversations are designed to convene researchers, public health advocates and domain experts as they participate in informative discussions held throughout the year. The series addresses a variety of topics including: environmental harms caused by vaping; “creative” vaping cessation ideas; and engaging youth to quit.
Each event features a moderated discussion with questions answered live.
Julie Dreifaldt from One Chance to Grow Up is set to present next week during Parents Against Vaping’s next session in their 2025 Clear the Vapor Conversations Series. Dreifaldt is scheduled to give a Zoom talk, “From Vaping to Edibles: The Evolving Landscape of Youth Marijuana Consumption,” on Tuesday, April 22 at 6 p.m.
As the youth substance use landscape continues to shift, parents and communities look to stay ahead of the curve. Dreifeldt’s presentation is described as an “urgent and eye-opening webinar” exploring how marijuana—particularly in high-potency forms—is being marketed to and consumed by young people today.

How today’s THC is entwined with the nation’s youth mental health crisis.
Participants can submit questions when they register for free, to be answered by Dreifaldt live during the moderated discussion. All registrants will receive a recording of the event.
