The West Windsor Arts Council’s annual ArtWalk returns Saturday, May 31, with a fresh summer vibe, new early evening hours, and expanded activities focused on creativity, wellness, and fun for all ages.
Running from 4 to 7 p.m. at the arts center at 952 Alexander Road in Princeton Junction, ArtWalk 2025 features a one-mile Family Fun Walk with a scavenger hunt, tokens for creative activities and games, live music, and a festive carnival-like atmosphere.
“ArtWalk 2025 is all about celebrating community, creativity and wellness — in a way that’s accessible and fun for everyone,” said Aylin Green, executive director of West Windsor Arts. “We’re keeping all the favorite traditions from past ArtWalks, but adding a fresh twist to welcome summer with new activities.”
Participants begin with a goodie bag and a map before heading out on the walk, where they can collect tokens to redeem for face painting, art projects, and prizes back at the center.
Activities include painting Kindness Rocks, decorating sneaker keychains, and helping complete a collaborative graffiti mural led by artist Mikel Cirkus.
Live music curated by Vasanti Anand, a popcorn machine, henna art, massage therapy, and wellness offerings—including blood pressure screenings from Robert Wood Johnson medical students—round out the family-friendly event.
“ArtWalk is a day for your mind, body and community spirit,” Green said. “We want families to make the day their own — try something new, express themselves creatively, or just enjoy time together.”
A silent auction featuring items from local restaurants, shops, and service providers will help raise funds for West Windsor Arts’ community programs. Tickets are $10 per person or $25 for a family pass.
