Two men have been charged in connection with a June 26 shooting in Trenton that left one man dead and three others injured.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force arrested Trevon C. Manning and Jahmir A. Laws, both 25 of Trenton, in the fatal shooting of Koran Hunter, 24, authorities said.
Police said the victims were standing outside in the 100 block of Passaic Street when a vehicle approached and opened fire. Officers were dispatched to the scene around 8:52 p.m. and located four victims — three men and one woman — suffering from gunshot wounds. Hunter was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after.
Following an investigation, Manning and Laws were each charged with murder, conspiracy, multiple counts of attempted murder and aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a handgun, and possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose.
Laws was apprehended early July 4 in Trenton, and Manning was arrested shortly after in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, by the Falls Township Police Department, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
