Ewing Township and The College of New Jersey will present Community Fest 2025 on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the TCNJ campus, rain or shine.

The event, a long-standing fall tradition, will feature live music, vendors, civic and school groups, amusements and a car show.

The day kicks off early with the annual Bike Tour of Ewing, a 12.5-mile community ride beginning and ending at Campus Town.

Organized by the Ewing Recreation Department and the Ewing Green Team’s Bike Advocacy Group, the ride promotes a more bike-friendly community and this year will benefit Younity, formerly Womanspace, a Mercer County nonprofit supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Cyclists are asked to arrive at 7:45 a.m. for an 8:15 a.m. start. The event is held rain or shine, with Ewing police providing escort support through intersections. Helmets and road-compliant bicycles are required.

Pre-registration is required to guarantee a T-shirt. Fees are $15 for ages 16 and 17, $20 for adults 18 and older, and $40 for families of three or more in the same household. Registration and payment must be received by Oct. 11 to receive a shirt.

Online registration includes a $3 processing fee and can be completed through the township’s CivicRec system, in person at the Ewing Recreation Department office in the Hollowbrook Community Center, by phone at 609-883-1776 ext. 2, or by mail.

In the event of severe weather, organizers will contact riders by phone or email.

Meanwhile, Community Fest will be in full swing starting at 10 a.m. Booths for local businesses, crafters and nonprofits will line the central campus walkways.

The event also includes inflatables, sand art, carnival games, food vendors, and displays by the Ewing police and fire departments.

A classic car show, open to all makes and models, will run throughout the day, and community performing groups will present music, dance and marching band routines on the main stage.

Booth space is sold out for this year, but volunteers are still needed for early-morning setup, cleanup, and to host children’s activities. Groups that provide crafts or games at tables can be reimbursed up to $25 for supplies with receipts.

“Community Fest is made possible through the generous support of community businesses,” organizers said in a statement.
