Lawrence Township Public Schools has introduced a new district-wide brand identity.
The rebranding effort was developed to foster a sense of cohesion and pride across the district and its seven schools, each of which has its own mascot, colors and logo, states an LTPS news release.
A review of the current mascots showed stylistic inconsistencies and outdated designs. Each mascot has been updated to reflect a more modern appearance while preserving the key elements of its original identity.
The rebranding process included input from school administrators, PTOs, guidance counselors and other district staff. Feedback on specific mascot characteristics, such as “friendly eyes” and a “golden heart,” was incorporated into the new designs.
The new branding effort incorporated advanced design technology, including updated school logos that align with a cohesive district-wide visual identity.
Each school’s logo now features its mascot within a shield, along with the school name and colors. The design reflects the district’s shield, which includes the name “Lawrence,” the motto “Lead, Achieve, Succeed” and an “L” at the center.
The district rebranding emphasizes a unified connection among all LTPS schools, symbolizing community pride. The new branding aligns with the district’s 2024-2025 hashtag, #LTPSThisIsUs.
