Favorite Memory of School: When I almost triggered the fire alarm in the middle of Mr. SHS. After shorting a battery and melting the connector, I created a cloud of smoke that led Mrs. Caruso to jump on stage and frantically fan it away. I thought it was fun, but Mrs. Caruso might beg to differ.

Favorite Memory of School: One of my favorites has to be co-hosting Mr. SHS, our male beauty pageant. Besides Shem dancing as pregnant Rihanna and Bert falling off the stage head first after trying to dunk on me, what made this event most memorable was watching all of the boys from different sports and clubs come together to put on the hysterical and entertaining annual show that exemplifies school unity and Steinert PRIDE.

Favorite Memory of School: Going to Key Largo in December 2022 for a marine biology field trip. It was so much fun to travel to another state with all of my friends. We were able to snorkel in the same water as large sea turtles, sharks, dolphins, manatees and lots of other marine animals. We also kayaked, went to the beach, and learned a lot about marine life in the process. My favorite part of the trip was when we saw “Christ of the Abyss” while snorkeling. It was amazing to see such a large statue become part of the marine ecosystem. We also had the best milkshakes ever while petting animals at a farm stand.

Favorite Memory of School: There are so many great memories to choose from, ranging from snagging a lead role in the musical this year to remembering the excitement I had about going on a “one-week break” back in March 2020, but if I had to choose something specific, it would be those small moments in class when you realize that you have truly become friends and made a connection with someone, and especially the time where those that were going into school during the 2021 school year with masks were finally able to come together without A, B, and C cohorts and I discovered that I had “stolen” someone’s seat in Mr. Ryan’s Pre-Calculus class. I would not have made it where I am without all those connections I had made through school, and especially not without the one I made that day.
