The EASEL Animal Rescue League is highlighting two pets for their Rescue of the Month.
Henna
Henna is a young, energetic dog who was starting to stress at another shelter and needed a change of scenery. Henna can be a little mouthy like a puppy, but takes correction and stops when you tell her no. Henna will roll over for belly rubs and we are told that she plays with other dogs. We will be evaluating her, but she seems to be a friendly, adoptable dog.
Patricia
Patricia is a beautiful, well tempered tuxedo about 4 years old. She was found when looking out a window from a trailer at a trailer park that had been abandoned. Another resident of the park knew that the people had left and noticed the cat, broke in rescued her and brought her to EASEL.
The EASEL trailer and Ewing Animal Shelter are located at 2 Jake Garzio Drive in Ewing. The EASEL Animal Shelter is open for adoptions everyday 12 to 3 p.m. The trailer is open for adoptions Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday nights from 5 to 7 p.m.
