The class has served me with a new, more insightful look at the rhetoric of the words I encounter. My friends and I ordered Chinese food one night. We had nowhere to sit so I brought out the prop table and chairs, and we ate on them. Then we cleaned up so it looked like we didn’t use them. Except, during rehersal, one of the leads found a fortune from a fortune cookie and had no idea where it came from. My friends and I burst out laughing.”
