To celebrate the opening of their Lawrenceville Adoption Center for Rescued Pets, Pets Plus Natural is holding a grand opening party on Sunday, July 17.

Located at 111 Lawrenceville Road, festivities kick off at 10 a.m. with free gift bags for the first 100 customers. There will also be a chance to win prizes, including hourly visits to the money machine between 1 and 4 p.m. and free dog or cat food for a year. Other family-friendly activities include free face painting, balloons, pretzels and soda.

Adoptable pets and animal rescue organizations will be part of the celebration, with a special ribbon cutting ceremony at 1 p.m., accompanied by the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), local and state representatives and special guests. With the partnership of the HSUS and numerous shelters, Pets Plus Natural serves as a rescue center offering dogs, cats, puppies and kittens for adoption, and is open seven days a week during the store’s normal business hours.

Saving animals from cruelty, neglect and homelessness one new family at a time is a key part of Pets Plus Natural’s mission. To date, almost 3,700 pets have been adopted from the Pets Plus Natural Adoption Centers.

Having an adoption center in Lawrenceville has expanded its partners’ ability to house and serve more animals in need. All pets available for adoption are vet-checked, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Pets Plus Natural is a local, family-owned business that has been serving regional pet families since 1988. To view available pets for adoption visit at petspluspatural.com or facebook.com/petsplusnatural.
