This year, The Princeton Police, PBA Local No. 130 and The Princeton Recreation Department will host the annual Princeton Community Night Out.
The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at the Community Park Pool located at 380 Witherspoon St. As always, this event is open to all Princeton residents and attendees may use the pool facilities free of charge during the event.
Additionally, free hot dogs and cold bottled water will be provided by McCaffrey’s Supermarkets. Lots of souvenir giveaways and ice cream will be provided while supplies last.
Members of the Princeton Police Department, fire department and first aid squad will display various emergency tools and equipment. The police departments’ K-9 Harris will also be conducting several demonstrations to show the types of service he provides the community.
Many local Princeton community groups will have free giveaways. Children are invited to climb and conquer the 24 foot high rock wall and can also dunk police officers at the dunk tank.
There will be large inflatable games (all attractions are supervised), face painting and a balloon artist.
