DIVISION THREE BOYS

On Saturday, The Carnegie Cat Clinic (Blue) defeated Millstone (Red) 8-2. JC Perez scored 3 goals once with assist of Victor Polverejan. Ben Veal, Cameron Phillips, Dan Polverejan scored a goal and Aaron Dandurand put the ball in with a nice straight kick. JC Perez passed the ball to Victor Polverejan, who scored a goal. While the goalies played by Jonathan Sharma and Aaron Dandurand blocked many goals attempts of the other team, the Millstone team scored 2 goals.

On Sunday, the Carnegie Cat Clinic (Blue) and defeated Ewing Soccer (Green) 8-1. Miko Kubiak passed the ball to JC Perez, who scored. Chris Sawicki passed the ball to Dan Polverejan, who scored a goal. Cameron Phillips passed the ball to Victor Polverejan, who put the ball in the goal. Dan Polverejan scored a goal after Victor Polverejan passed him the ball. Cameron Phillips scored the last goal. When the Ewing Soccer team tried to score, goalie Chris Sawicki, was assisted by Nathan Lee to defend the goal.

DeSimone Orthodontics defeated Sourland Cycles on Saturday 6-0. Scoring twice on great passes were Louis Azara and Michael Stroman, and Dylan Drift and Herbert Carr added their first goals of the year. The defense kept the pressure on throughout the entire game, led by Emiliano Fernandez, Jackson Pfau, Michael Moran and Bradley Cohen.

In an ICL matchup, DeSimone Orthodontics defeated Robbinsville 1 on Sunday 5-1. Starting the scoring for DeSimone was Colin Szustakowski, on a one-timer in the box, for his first goal of the season. Bradley Cohen also has his first goal of the season on a nice pass from a teammate. Rounding out the scoring was Herbert Carr who has scored in two straight games, along with goals from Joshua Kohlhepp and Emerson Hoagland—two of the team’s leading scorers this season. The defensive and mid-field play throughout the game was anchored by strong individual efforts from Jacob Brown, Jackson Pfau and Aaron Nulman.

Sourland Cycles lost 5-0 to Desimone Orthodontics on Saturday. The Cycles were short four team members, but had grit defending the goal—especially during the second half.

Jack’s Nursery beat Robbinsville-2 on Sunday 5-0. Jeffrey Blake and Daniel English each scored goals for Jack’s Nursery in the first half of the game. Han Kim and Jeffrey Blake took turns defending the goal. Thomas C. Montanari and Jeffrey Blake each scored goals in the second half. Mason Scall and Matthew Tunkel were goalies for Jack’s in the second half and Hans Kim and Matthew Tunkel played strong defense to keep Robbinsville from scoring.

DIVISION THREE GIRLS

Jack’s Greenhouse & Nursery beat Robbisville team 2 on Saturday 10-5. Anna Gabe started off the scoring for Jack’s with an assist from Katie Clarke. Natalie Kasprzyk scored next for Jack’s. Robbinsville came back to tie the game at 2 goals each. Anna found the back of the net twice more in the half to bring Jack’s to a 4-2 lead. The second half of the game had goals for both side going back and fourth. Scoring were Anna (2, with assists by Jaelyn Krin and Lily Gaglio), Tessa Caputo (3, with 2 assists by Katie) and Lucy Antal.

Jack’s Greenhouse & Nursery played against Hopewell Exppress Sunday. Hopewell Express scored twice in the first half while Zoe Dec scored the only goal for Jack’s. Hopewell Express added two goals to their lead in the second half. A last minute goal for Jack’s by Tessa Caputo made the final score 4-2 in favor of Hopewell Express. Jack’s goaltending duties were split between Jaina Jackowski and Shinyi Li.

On Saturday, The Dahlia Florals Pink Panthers Girls played Robbinsville, who won the game 4-1. Taylor Wert scored the goal for the Pink Panthers, while goalie Emily Howe saved several shots from scoring. On Sunday, the girls lost against the HVSA Royal Blue team, with a score of 7-0. Charlotte DeLorenzo helped to move the ball forward several times and Grace Stroman worked with Ayla Mauk with some great passing. Mariel Haynes continued to play well on defense, and Mia Govantes did a great job in this game in mid-field.

On Saturday, The HVSA Blue Bull Exterminators defeated Ewing 1 in and Inter County League match 7-1. The crisp passing displayed by the Blue Bulls led to scoring being spread across players, with goals by Chelsea Kent (2), Carly Brant, Amanda Flanders, Iris Lautermilch, Sonia Tenbarge and Piper Brant. The competition was held in check by strong defense demonstrated by Kirsten Southall, Sierra Mitchell and Manvi Shah.

On Sunday, The HVSA Blue Bull Exterminators challenged Dahlias Floral Concepts in a 7-0 match. Scoring for the HVSA Blue Bulls was Amanda Flanders (2), Carly Brant (3), Sonia Tenbarge (1) and Chelsea Kent (1), with midfielders Iris Lautermilch and Lily Ryan providing 2 assists each. Iris L. had a beautiful crossing pass to Amanda for one of the goals, while Lily R. blocked the keeper from clearing the ball, and delivered it to her teammate for the tally. HVSA defense stood solid as Piper Brant, Kirsten Southall, Hailey Addonizio, Sierra Mitchell and Manvi Shah, controlled their side of the field, allowing the clean sheat to be recorded by Chelsea K., Manvi S. and Carly B. in goal.

DIVISION TWO BOYS

Pennington Quality Market faced Soccer Post and Tennis Net on Saturday. Goalies Aiden Luciano, Dylan Yasher, Gavin McDonough and Erik Petrin limited Soccer Post to just 2 goals. William Stowe, James Todd and Vincent Matticoli played solid defense. On offense Samuel Dede and Giuseppe Panzitta put the pressure on Soccer Post. In the fourth quarter, Dylan Yasher, assisted by Chris Miliaresis, scored PQM’s first goal. Gavin McDonough’s relentless effort came through for PQM with the game-tying goal in the fourth quarter. The game ended with a 2-2 tie.

On Sunday, Pennington Quality Market played against Regent Floor Covering. Defensemen James Todd, Chris Miliaresis and William Stowe tried their hardest to protect the PQM net. Samuel Dede’s goal, assisted by Giuseppe Panzitta, put PQM on the board in the first quarter. Gavin McDonough was in goal for the second half, blocking numerous shots and a penalty kick. Aiden Luciano, Erik Petrin and Vincent Matticoli put up a good effort on offense led by Giuseppe Panzitta—who netted two goals for PQM in the fourth quarter. Pennington Quality Market lost to Regent Floor Covering with a score of 6-3.

On Saturday, Regent Floor Covering beat Horvath & Giacin 5-2. Finn Garner made 3 goals and Owen Lengle made the other 2. Stephen Biloban provided strong defense, while Jace Kalina and Liam Jensen did a terrific job playing in midfield. On Sunday, Regent Floor Covering beat Pennington Quality Market 6-3. Four goals were made by Finn Garner and Owen Lengle made 2 goals. Patrick Crotty did a great job playing defense.

Horvath & Giacin lost 5-2 on Saturday against Regent Floor Covering. Jackson Blackwell started out as goalie blocking a penalty kick and many attempts on goal, followed up by Eli Angarone who stepped in as goalie for the first time this season. The defense was led by Eli Croner, Jack Thielmann, Samik Mookherjee and Saylor Schoene, who were able to keep Regent to just 2 goals for nearly three full quarters. Josh Rheinhardt, Andrew Nalbone and Peter Didonato worked offense well. They started out early with their first goal by a surprise left foot shot on goal by Josh Rheinhardt and followed up by a goal by Andrew Nalbone with a solid right foot kick.

Horvath & Giacin lost 3-0 on Sunday against Greenleaf Lawn & Landscaping. The team held Greenleaf Lawn & Landcaping to no goals until the fourth quarter. Goalie Jack Thielmann did an incredible job blocking many shots. A strong defensive effort by Scott Mangan, Samik Mookherjee, Josh Rheinhardt and Andrew Nalbone helped defend the goal by clearing the ball and driving back down towards the opponents side. Eli Angarone (aka Mr. Midfield) ran the whole field, helping keep the opponents scoreless for the first three quarters. Juan Geller, Peter Didonato and Matviy Mykytyn worked well together driving many attempts on Greenleaf’s goal.

Greenleaf Landscaping won a tough 7-3 game on Saturday morning. Shane Sullivan (celebrating his tenth birthday) scored early, and often. Shane scored four goals against Northfield Bank, drilling several into the back of the net. Noah Pashman added two goals, plus an assist off a corner kick. Colin McCullough was on the receiving end of that corner from Pashman, and moved quickly to punch the ball in the goal. Joseph Troiano played an excellent midfield continually driving the ball from midfield to Greenleaf’s strikers. On defense, a team effort from Luke Rodefeld, Abram Wojciechowicz, Logan Paul, Brady DeCore and Ryan Fornal kept Northfield Bank to just three goals.

On Sunday, Greenleaf Landscaping defeated Horvath & Giacin 3-0. The Greenleaf Serps were led by strong goalkeeping by Shane Sullivan, Jack Gabe and Noah Pashman. The Serps added three goals with one from Jack Gabe, one from Noah Pashman, and then Luke Rodefeld added one in the fourth quarter. The Greenleaf defense played an excellent game, continually disrupting Horvath attackers. Luke Rodefeld, Brady DeCore, Logan Paul, Abram Wojciechowicz and Ryan Fornal solidified the Greenleaf defense.

In the rematch with Greenleaf Lawn & Landscaping, Northfield Bank scored a total of 3 goals with Logan Camilleri, Luke Hemmer and Drew Kohlhepp each contributing a goal. While 3 goals was not enough for a victory, the team showed great improvement over their first match. In the victory over Union Line Garage, Northfield Bank scored a total of 6 goals with 3 assists. Logan Camilleri scored an impressive 5 goals and 1 assist with Nikolai Klein adding a goal and 2 assists to secure the victory for Northfield Bank.

DIVISION TWO GIRLS

The Pennington Quality Market Flower Shop played an intense match against WMLM on Sunday. The keepers, Kaelyn Gopaul, Maeve Geurds, Rebekah Siegleheim and Olivia Friedrich played strong in the net. Gianna Azara netted the goal for PQM Flower Shop. The game ended in a 1-1 tie.

On Saturday, The Red Lions lost 2-1 to Purtuc Dental. The Red Lions took an early lead on a goal by Ava Courtney. Shreya Mookherjee and Rosemary Stout’s aggressive offense led to many chances on goal. Sophia Pellegrino played great defense helping to hold Purtuc Dental to 2 goals

On Sunday The Red Lions and PQM Flower shop tied 1-1 in a defensive battle. The Red Lions struck first on a goal by Ava Courtney. Grace Sullivan and Sophia Pellegrino stymied PQM Flower shop and kept the game close. On offense Shreya Mookherjee created many scoring chances by dribbling up the field and passing to open teammates. In goal, Lila Petropoulos made amazing saves and when Gerise Kelly came in to play goalie in the fourth quarter she made a save to preserve the tie.

The Burwood Landscapes & Patio Design team wrapped up their seventh game of the season with a 1-0 win over Dr. McDonough’s Live Wires. The single goal of the game was scored by Lilla Antal. Strong defensive play from Allison Howe and Lilla Antal as well as excellent goaltending from Kathryn Finn, Maya Brown, Eva Giambanco and Lindsay Giambanco were key to holding the shutout.

Dr. McDonough’s Live Wires defeated Purtuc Dental on Sunday afternoon. After a 0-0 score at halftime, Dr. McDonough’s Live Wires were able to put together a play that led to a breakaway goal by Emma Stowe in the third quarter. It was followed with a goal by their opponents to tie the game. The Live Wires’ strong defense, including Ellie Duffy, Kalina Kirova and goalie Francesca Moriello, held strong and with two minutes left in the fourth quarter, a goal by Jenna Young clinched the win, 2-1.

During the Saturday 1-0 loss to Burwood Landscapes & Patio, Dr. McDonough’s Live Wires’s Ellie Duffy and Kalina Kirova provided strong defense. After consistent defending by goalie Ryland Pasquito, the Burwood Landscapes & Patio Scored their first and only goal. After several shot on goals by Francesca Moriello and Emma Stowe and the great defense by Abigail Hogan, Cassidy Hartman, Sara Amour, Jenna Young and Sydney Young, The Live Wires still came up short.
