In celebration of the 98th anniversary of Armistice Day, the Historical Society of Princeton is hosting an Early Life of Woodrow Wilson walking tour on Nov. 12.
Participants will learn more about Wilson’s controversial life in Princeton, before he became the 28th President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief during World War I.
Locations on the walking tour include places in the community that were a part of Wilson’s life as a student, faculty member and president of the university. The tour guide uses the buildings and houses as focal points in a narrative on the influences of Wilson’s early life and education that shaped his character, ambitions and goals.
The tour starts at 10 a.m. outside Bainbridge House, 158 Nassau St. Tickets are $10 per person. Advanced purchase is recommended, as space is limited.
