Business owners Frank Dolce and Joe Clemente will be honored at the 13th Annual Robbinsville Education Foundation (R.E.F.) Recognition Ceremony and Casino Night to be held April 1, 2016 at John Henry’s Stone Terrace starting at 6 p.m.
Robbinsville Township Director of Recreation Joe Barker and Dolce & Clemente’s Italian Gourmet Market will be recognized for their wealth of contributions to the township on April 1, 2016 when they are honored at the 13th Annual Robbinsville Education Foundation (R.E.F.) Recognition Ceremony and Casino Night. The event will take place at John Henry’s Stone Terrace starting at 6 p.m.
Barker has served as the head of Robbinsville Recreation since 2011, when he exited a corporate career that included a successful stint at Mobile Oil. Married to his wife, Jane, and the father of three boys – Austin, Matt and Jack – Barker’s attention to detail, organizational skills, compassion, dedication and boundless energy have been an invaluable asset to the Township and Mayor Dave Fried’s administration.
Business honoree Dolce and Clemente’s, represented by Frank Dolce and Joe Clemente, opened in Robbinsville nine years ago. The two specifically chose Town Center due to the area’s focus on community and family. Dolce & Clemente’s regularly donates to the Robbinsville Senior Center, the police and fire departments, the Robbinsville Soccer Association, the Tomm May 5K event and the Mercer Street Friends Center, among many other organizations.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Robbinsville Education Foundation, which awards grants to individual teachers for special projects and pilot programs that would likely not receive funding in the school budget.
Tickets for the event are $75, which includes $50 in casino chips. The Poker Tournament is sponsored by Robbinsville’s Mayor Dave Fried and Council President Ron Witt. Participation in the tournament requires a separate entry fee. To purchase tickets and for more information, visit refkids.org.
