Dorothy N. Havlicek, 86, of Rye, New York, died February 8. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Rosie, and grandsons Sam, Liam, and Max, all of West Windsor.

Thomas B. Smith, 89, of Mantoloking died February 19. Born in Rocky Hill, he spent most of his life in the Princeton Junction area. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Deborah Jane Smith; daughters, Judy Smith Cooper and Kathy Smith Bogle; grandfather to Lindsay Cooper Scoville, Stephanie Cooper Price, Thomas Reese Bogle, Brian Michael Bogle, Jeffrey Scott Bogle; and great-grandfather to Henry Alexander Scoville, Cooper Thomas Scoville, and Josephine Sunshine Price.

A graduate of Leicester College he was a World War II veteran, serving in the US Coast Guard. He was a deacon at the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck, a member of the Lions Club, and served as president of the United Way. Smith was a manager with Prudential Insurance Company for 34 years. He was the author of “If It Is To Be, It Is Up To Me” and “Character & Leadership: Pillars of Success.”

Sally Doubleday Endriz, 72, of California died February 24. She was a former resident of West Windsor and was the dean of girls at the Peddie School. Survivors include her husband, Dr. John Endriz.

David Michael Januszewski, 61, of West Wyoming died February 26. Survivors include a sister, Patricia Reslan of West Windsor.

Olga Dutka, 89, of Somerset died February 29. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Mynes of Plainsboro.

Sylvia E. Sandler, 101, of Monroe died February 29. Survivors include daughters, Francine (Assaf) Amir of Plainsboro and Marjorie Stenerson; grandchildren, Jennifer (Sebastian) Torre, Louis (Ayako) Stenerson, Yariv (Beth) Amir, Lemore (Kevin) Fritz, and Orly Amir; and nine great-grandchildren. Donations may be made to Jewish Family & Children’s Service (food pantry fund) or Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks (PJ Library Fund).

Thomas P. O’Connell, 82, of West Windsor died March 7. He was raised in Braintree, Massachusetts. An Army veteran, he graduated from the University of Connecticut and earned his master’s degree at Suffolk University. He played basketball and baseball in college and professionally for Kansas City, and was a successful coach at the high school and collegiate levels.

O’Connell directed the Ted Williams Baseball Camp and coached baseball at Brandeis University from 1972 to 1981. He coached the Princeton Tigers from 1982 to 1997 and worked closely with the Babe Ruth Association.

After retiring from Princeton, he coached in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Hyannis Mets and Cotuit Kettlers and scouted for the Cincinnati Reds.

Survivors include a daughter, JoAnne Walker; a son, Tim O’Connell; a son-in-law, Michael Walker; a daughter-in-law, Heather O’Connell; and his grandchildren.

Jocelyn Berman, 88, of Highland Park died March 7. Survivors include a grandson, Matthew Shiff of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation or the Lustgarten Foundation.

Steven Attila Torma, 53, of Douglassville, Pennsylvania, died March 8. Survivors include his mother-in-law Gerda Somers of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

John “Jack” McGuigan, 84, of Brick died March 8. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Cindy of Plainsboro.

Gary Jeter, 61, of Plainsboro died March 10. He was born in Weirton, West Virginia.

He was a defensive lineman who played for the Giants, Rams, and Patriots during a 13-year career with the NFL. He later owned a bakery.

Survivors include his wife Leslie; daughters Kayla, Breana, Denyse, and Ayisha; and his brother Alvin.

Robert “Bob” Brown Lowe, Jr., 81, of West Windsor died March 12. Born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, he lived in West Windsor for 30 years.

A graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in business, he had a long career in investment banking. He was an active member of the West Windsor Senior Citizen Center.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Frances “Dee” (Brammer) Lowe; his three sons and their wives, Robert III and Sheryl, Brian and Beth, and Bruce and Karen; his grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Collin, Alex, Evan, Daniel, and Nathan; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Bob Hancher and Barbara and Bob Koebley, and his nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 19, at 11:30 a.m. with visitation for family and friends immediately prior starting at 10 a.m. at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury. Donations may be made to Friends of West Windsor Senior Citizens, Box 905, West Windsor 08550.

Edward M. O’Mara Sr., 86, of Skillman died March 14. Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, he was a longtime resident of West Windsor.

A Navy veteran, he served during the Korean War. He graduated from Fordham and received his M.B.A. from New York University. He was in sales and marketing at Union Camp Corporation.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marie; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Peggy O’Mara; sister Marie O’Mara; son and daughter-in-law Edward and Neeta (Bahal) O’Mara; daughter Lynne Makrina O’Mara; and grandchildren Theodore and Michael Tkaczevski, and Sean, Evan, and Neena O’Mara.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 19, at 11:30 a.m. at St. David the King R.C. Church, 1 New Village Road, West Windsor. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. A reception will follow. Donations may be made to the Garden State Chapter of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, Box 4258, Wayne 07474 or (mgnj.org).
