Campus Town, located adjacent to The College of New Jersey, 1928 Pennington Road in Ewing, kicked off the inaugural season of the 31 & Main Farmers Market at Campus Town on June 13.
The farmers market is being organized by Campus Centers, LLC, an affiliate of The PRC Group based in Long Branch, New Jersey and will be open to residents of Ewing and surrounding communities as well as to the students and faculty of TCNJ.
Items available at the market feature a variety of conventional and organic fruits and vegetables, meat, eggs, honey, mushrooms, cheese and gluten free baked goods. Vendors include: Cherry Grove Farm, Z Food Farm, Pineland Farms, Griggstown Farm and Fulper Family Farmstead. Additional vendors may be added over the next few weeks so check out the website for up to date information about the market. Live music and plenty of free parking each week.
The market will be open on Sundays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. from June 13 until Oct. 30. Cooking demonstrations, health screenings, nutrition counseling and physical fitness activities are just some of the events that will take place at the market.
