The Deerwood Animal Hospital is set to hold a grand opening and open house with a variety of activities on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. The animal hospital is located at 825 Route 33 in Hamilton.
State Senator Linda R. Greenstein, Assistant Majority Whip in the State Senate, will officiate at the ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m.
Owner Dr. Stryeski is certified by the Chi Veterinary Institute in these special areas and has gained much recognition for these specialized practices. She is also the owner of Windsong Pet Healing in Pennington.
The event is set to include refreshments, demonstrations, hospital tours, raffle baskets and freebees. There will be special demonstrations on pet health care and grooming.
The open house will feature a variety of vendors which include: Fromm Pet Foods, Royal Canin Diets, Honest Kitchen Pet Foods, Merial (manufacturer of Heartguard and Frontline Plus), Buster’s Bistro and Bakery for Pets, Pet Rescue of Mercer, Kind Heart Rescue (rabbits), Marty”s Place Senior Dog Sanctuary, Elanco (distributor of Interceptor and flea control products), Northstar Vets Emergency Hospital, Pet Meadows and Dawn’s Mobile Petsitting.
Dogs are welcome outdoors but need to be on a leash. No flexi leads.
In honor of the opening, Stryeski will be making contributions to pet related organizations.
