Building on the success of this summer’s first Code for Princeton Civic Hackathon, monthly Code for Princeton Hack, Yack and Learn Nights will be held at Princeton Public Library starting Friday, September 11, in the library’s Community Room. Upcoming gatherings will be on October 9 and November 13, 2015. The library is located in the Sands Library Building at 65 Witherspoon Street in Princeton.
Techies of all skill levels are invited to bring their laptops and join the hacking at 6 p.m. on the second Friday of the month. Newcomers are encouraged to attend an orientation session at 6:30 p.m. The evenings will also include a 7 p.m. Codecademy Circle for those who need assistance learning to code and would like to work on it with others.
Participants are asked to register on the Code for Princeton Meetup page meetup.com/codeforprinceton/.
The gatherings are co-sponsored by the library, Code for Princeton and the Municipality of Princeton.
All Princeton Public Library programs are free and open to the public. If programs require registration, preference is given to library cardholders. The physically challenged should contact the library at (609) 924-9529 48 hours before any program with questions about special accommodations.
