Career Support Group at St. Gregory the Great is set to host an open house event featuring success speaker and author Abby Kohut on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place at St. Gregory the Great Church locaated at 4620 Nottingham Way in Hamilton.
The event celebrates the group’s rebranding and new name, Career Support Group at St. Gregory the Great (formerly the Network Group), which more accurately depicts its mission. Every month, the group hosts a job search and career transition support meeting for the community at large. Hundreds of displaced workers and those in career transition have walked through its doors and found a safe haven in which they could network, share job search tips, interact with career experts, accelerate their career transition and most importantly find hope.
Abby Kohut will be the featured guest presenter at the September 19th monthly meeting and open house. She will present “Success for the Seasoned Search: The Benefit of Being Overqualified” highlighting why being told that you are overqualified should be music to one’s ears.
