Chapin School’s Limitless Futures Capital Campaign successfully raised over $8 million and funded the completion of the multi-year, multi-million dollar building project. With the recent conclusion of Phase II, there is now a two-story 14,000 square foot middle school addition including classrooms, technology lab, offices, meeting rooms and a learning commons. Phase I, competed in the summer of 2014, brought 13,000 square feet of additional space for the Lower School, featuring a commons area, library/media center, technology lab and a science lab specifically designed for elementary age students.
Commemorating this historic event, the official September 8, 2015 ribbon cutting ceremony included dignitaries Bill Ehert, Owner’s Representative, Walter Kneis and Kevin Edwards of NK Architects, and George Ziminski of TriStates Capital Bank, Chapin Board of Trustees Dina Brewer, Kate Bricker, Chris Foglio, Kristin McLaughlin, Patrizia Thomas and Lou Valente, along with Upper School Head Gil Olvera and his faculty team.
