Mercer County Turkey Trot 5K set for Nov 26

Mercer County Park is set to host the third annual Mercer County Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2015. The event will be held at 334 South Post Road in West Windsor.

The morning event will consist of a 5K Race and a 1 Mile Walk/Run. The 5K race kicks off at 8:30 a.m. from the West Picnic area and the 1 Mile Walk/Run begins at 8:35 a.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local food pantries, including Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) Kosher Food Pantry, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), Catholic Charities and the Red Cross.

The entry fee is $30. Participants are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the food pantries.
