On Jan. 7, at 4 pm at the Princeton Public Library, Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) Music Director Rossen Milanov will discuss his conducting career in the US and Spain at this PSO Soundtracks presentation. He will introduce PSO’s January chamber music performances by members of the Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias, his orchestra in Oviedo, Spain, and share his love of all aspects of Spanish culture and cuisine.
This PSO Soundtracks presentation is a prelude to the Jan. 18 PSO Classical Series Concert Scenic Rhythms, which will feature classical guitarist Robert BeliniÄ, performing the Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez.
The event will take place in the Princeton Public Library Community Room. Refreshments will be served, including Spanish delicacies provided by Despaña Tapas Cafe, Princeton.
The PSO Soundtracks Series is presented in partnership with The Princeton Public Library. It explores music and related topics, including behind the scenes at the PSO, Princeton’s only professional orchestra.
