CASA for Children Mercer and Burlington Counties will hold a Mardi Gras benefit gala on February 28 from 6 to 10 p.m.
CASA is an independent, non-profit organization commited to speaking up for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Mercer and Burlington Counties.. CASA works through trained community volunteers to ensure that needed services and assistance are made available while helping to move children towards safe and permanent homes.
The event will be held at Greenacres Country Club located at 2170 Lawrenceville Road in Lawrence.
Entertainment will be provided by the Jambalaya Brass Band, an eight-piece New York City-based brass and percussion group.
The event chairs are Paula Harrington, principal of Association Business Solutions, and Tennille McCoy, human resources manager for Aramark. The honorary chair will be Brenda Ross-Dulan, region president of Well Fargo Southern New Jersey.
CASA Mardi Gras will feature a cocktail hour and both live and silent auctions.
