The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes, the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the County Office of Economic Development and Sustainability and the New Jersey Technological Council, is set to present the 10th Annual Mercer County Economic Summit on Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 1:30 to 6 p.m. at the Conference Center at Mercer County Community College.
The focus of this year’s summit is “Leveraging Technology for Business Success.”
The event will feature Hughes delivering his “Mercer County Economic Development Report” to kick off the afternoon by focusing on what makes Mercer County an ideal place for businesses to locate and grow.
The keynote address, entitled “Embracing Technology Trends to Retain Your Customers,” will be delivered by Simon Nynens, CEO of Wayside Technology.
Herb Taylor, vice president and corporate secretary of the Federal Reserve Bank in Philadelphia will be returning for the fifth year to give national and local economic updates.
In addition to the addresses, a panel will discuss technological advances that can help business owners keep ahead of the curve. Vamsi Sistla, Chief Technological Officer at OfferBoard will discuss cloud technology; Nick Landry, Senior Technical Evangelist at Microsoft will discuss mobile applications and Ramon Ray, Publisher, Smart Hustle Magazine and Small Business Evangelist, Infusionsoft will discuss Social Media Marketing. The panel will be moderated by Hetal Parikh, President at Rangam Consultants Inc.
The Conference Center at Mercer County Community College is located on the college’s West Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road.
