On Saturday, March 28, 2015 the Princeton Battlefield Society held a Cleanup Day at Princeton Battlefield State Park. Local volunteers helped to clean up the area around the Thomas Clarke House by working to remove invasive bamboo.
The Thomas Clarke house was witness to the Battle of Princeton on January 3,1777 and became a battle hospital for both British and American soldiers. The organization completed Phase I, “Stablization of the House Structural Framing,” last fall and work is set to continue on Phase II throughout this Spring.
