Artsbridge is hosting its 21st annual juried show in July at Prallsville Mill in Stockton, from July 11 to August 2. Each artist may submit up to two pieces of either framed pieces or sculptures. Works will be accepted in categories of paintings, watercolors, works on paper, photography, sculpture, and other. There will be up to $3,000 in prizes awarded. Gallery 14 seeks entries for its national juried photography exhibition. Submit up to four JPEG images (4 by 6 inches at 300 dpi) via E-mail. Include a text document with your name, home address, phone number, and E-mail address along with a brief biography, and a numbered list of the four photographs submitted. Format for titling your electronic files is your name_number_photo title_framed dimensions. Email submissions to gallery14contest@gmail.com. All submissions must pre-pay an entry fee of $30 via PayPal at www.photogallery14.com. The gallery will receive a 30 percent commission if your work sells while on display.
New Jersey Water Color Society seeks entries for its 73rd annual open juried exhibition at the Middletown Arts Center. Entries will be accepted through the online entry process only from May 15 to August 3. Visit www.NJWCS.org
Monmouth Museum seeks entries for its Please Touch sculpture exhibition featuring wall and free standing sculpture that can be touched by visitors. This exhibition is intended to help visually-impaired people overcome the barrier they experience at most museums by allowing everyone to experience art by touching. Sighted people will also learn to experience art without relying on their eyesight in addition to a visual artistic experience.
Submit up to four pieces online, $20 per piece. Digital images must be at least 300 dpi. Selected wall sculpture must be wired, framed (if media applicable), and ready to hang (no saw-tooth hangers). Artworks must less than 10 feet in height or width and able to fit through a standard door. Pedestals must be provided by all NJ artists for all three-dimensional entries (when appropriate). Entered and accepted work cannot be substituted. All work must be available for the duration of the exhibition.
Submit format, contact information, a unique title of each work, size, media, price, year completed, artist statement not more than 250 words, and payment.

North Brunswick Library will be offering two free workshops for job seekers. Resume and cover letter writing 101 will be offered on Tuesday, May 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Learn how to write a resume using action based language, write a powerful employment objective, and showcase your experience. The second program offers an open house for resume and cover letter critiques. Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County offers the Dr. Esther Wollin Memorial Scholarship Fund to a full-time student who will be, or is already, attending Rutgers University. Eligibility is limited to Jewish female students raised by their Jewish mother in a single-parent household in the Princeton/Mercer/Bucks area. Eligibility is based on financial need. New Jersey Blood Services, a division of New York Blood Center, which supplies blood products and services to 60 hospitals throughout the state, is in need of volunteers at blood drives. The blood service volunteer is an integral member of the collection team whose task it is assist donors with registration, escorting and canteen duties, and to watch for post donation reactions. Volunteers should have the ability to relate to the public, be able to perform different jobs as needed, and have the willingness to follow the rules. For additional information contact R. Historical Documents of the United States and New Jersey contains documents such as the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution, and all three versions of the New Jersey State Constitution.
Students’ Rights Handbook (Third Edition), a booklet cosponsored by the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey, covers such topics as freedom of expression, search and seizure, religion in schools and discipline. What You Need to Know about Plagiarism examines different forms of plagiarism, including copying material out of encyclopedias and cut and pasting information directly from the Internet.
Bill of Rights Bulletin is a 24-page newsletter that contains articles, puzzles, and trivia related to the Bill of Rights and the United States Constitution. The newsletter features articles on treason, the Pledge of Allegiance, and how the Constitution is amended, as well as articles on the Bill of Rights.
Constitutionally New Jersey, a 12-page newsletter that serves as a companion piece to the Bill of Rights Bulletin, is devoted to the New Jersey Constitution and features articles on the history of that document, women’s rights in New Jersey and how New Jersey is unique in the rights it grants students.
