The Community Blood Council of NJ recognized Barbara Sanna RN and Blood Drive Chairperson at their awards ceremony in May.

The Community Blood Council of New Jersey awarded the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development with a service award. The award was presented in a private ceremony in May.

Chief of Staff Gary Hassenbalg received the award on behalf of Commissioner Harold J.Wirths. The Community Blood Council of NJ also recognized Barbara Sanna, RN, and Blood Drive Chairperson.

The Department of Labor and Workforce Development has a long standing history of donating. The service award was based off of the organizations’ leadership role and enrichment in the local community.
