Hamilton Township is set to hold its final free rabies immunization clinic of the year for residents’ dogs and cats.
The clinic is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at the McManimon Township Building, 320 Scully Ave., Hamilton Township.
The clinic is open to pets of Hamilton Township residents only; proof of residency is required.
For residents utilizing this service, all dogs must be leashed. As a safety precaution, dogs should be muzzled, if necessary. All cats must arrive in a carrier.
The New Jersey Department of Health Policy requires the immunization of dogs every 2 years, even if the inoculation is good for a 3 year period.
