The Princeton Education Foundation (PEF) donated a $50,000 grant to Princeton Public Schools to fund district-wide technology initiatives and renovation projects.
Officially approved by the Board of Education at its meeting on Sept. 23, the money will be used to support the four elementary schools’ robotics teams, the Electronic Access for All program, and the renovation of the Princeton High School and Community Park Learning Commons.
Last spring, PEF donated a $20,000 grant in support primarily of teacher mini-grants. The Foundation has awarded a total of $70,000 to Princeton Public Schools this fiscal year.
Founded in 1995, the Princeton Education Foundation encourages private philanthropy to foster educational excellence in the community. More information is online at pefnj.org.
