Gregory B. Brosowsky, 62, of West Windsor died September 18. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 11, at 11 a.m. at St. David the King Church, 1 New Village Road, West Windsor. Donations may be made to Rock Brook School, 109 Orchard Road, Skillman 08558.

Nathaniel Shaffran, 90, of Freehold died September 27. Born in the Bronx, NY, he graduated from Colgate University with both bachelor and master’s degrees. Among his survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Joseph Komyati of West Windsor;

A veteran of the Army, he was in the air corps and served in the European theater during World War II. He was a high school history teacher, a guidance director, and a high school principal in New York, and taught college in New Jersey.

Other survivors include his wife of 68 years, Sylvia; sons Michael J. Shaffran of Morro Bay, California, and Jonathan J. Shaffran of Alexandra, VA; four grandchildren, Nikolas Komyati, Daniel Komyati, Rachel Tsvaygoft, and Jennifer Shaffran; and three great grandsons, Nathan and Carter Komyati, and Grant Tsvaygoft.

June P. Snook, 90, of Plainsboro died September 29 at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Born and raised in New Brunswick, she lived in Plainsboro for more than 65 years, where she served on the township zoning and planning boards and the board of education.

She taught Sunday school at Plainsboro Presbyterian Church, was involved with the 4-H Club and volunteered for many years at the Middlesex County Fair. Snook, the post mistress in the Plainsboro post office for more than 10 years, retired in the early 1970s.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Harold Britton Jr., and Gayle and Harvey Chertoff; her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Louise and George O’Carroll; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Richard J. Pezzano, 83, of Bayville died September 30. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Nelly Wiemer of Plainsboro.

Caroline H. Smoyer, 91, of Plymouth Meeting, PA, died October 2. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and David Pontell of West Windsor.

Irving Tarchis, 92, of Rahway died October 3. He served in the Navy during World War II. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, James Tarchis and Cynthia Redus Tarchis, and two grandchildren, John Tarchis and Nicholas Tarchis of West Windsor. Donations may be made to Rutgers Army ROTC-Cadet Fund, 157 College Avenue, New Brunswick 08901.

Natalie Ilasi, 89, of West Windsor died October 4. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a resident of West Windsor for 15 years. She retired as an administrative assistant with Princeton University. Survivors include two sons, Joseph and Michael Contorno; four step-children, Robert, Susan, Steven, and Annmarie; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Jacques A. Peel, 94, died October 4. He was a Navy veteran who served in World War II. After graduating from the University of North Carolina he was a tax accountant at General Electric for 36 years.

He moved to West Windsor with his family in 1970 when he accepted a position in GE’s international tax division. Survivors include his sons, Mark E. Peel and David J. Peel; and daughter, Elizabeth Thomas; their spouses, Anne M. Zeman, Will Peel, and Robert Thomas; and by two grandchildren, Ann L. Thomas and Samuel D. Thomas.

Lorette B. Bossler, 88, of Hamilton died October 5. Survivors include her granddaughter, Jenny Meade of Plainsboro. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 11, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 350 White Horse Avenue, Hamilton. Natalie Ference Januszewski, 88, of Dallas, PA, died October 5. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Reslan of West Windsor.
