Center for Orthodontic Excellence is holding a candy buy back program from Friday, October 31, to Monday, November 10. Children are invited to bring their candy to the office at 61 Princeton Hightstown Road in exchange for $1 per pound (five pound limit). The candy collected will be donated to a local charity. West Windsor Arts Center seeks entries in the annual affordable art exhibit and artisan market (Saturday, December 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). 952 Alexander Road, West Windsor.
Artisan Market submissions for jury review must be submitted electronically to wwacexhibits@gmail.com by Saturday, November 1, at 1 p.m. Items must be delivered by Friday, November 21, at 5 p.m. The cost is $35 for a table fee.
Artisans will be selling their innovative handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, fiber art, and more in a juried one-day artisan market during the opening of the “Off The Wall” art exhibit. Work must be original artwork handcrafted by the artist. Artisans selling their work from tables will be responsible for collecting sale proceeds and sales tax. Lawrence Library seeks entries for the upcoming altered book exhibit. Express yourself and transform a discarded book into art. Open to students in grades 7 to 12 and adults residing in Mercer County. All accepted entries will be exhibited in the library’s reference area during December.

Audition
Playful Theater Productions has auditions for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Cats” on Thursday, December 4, at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, December 7, at 2 p.m. at Kelsey Theater. There are also auditions for pit singers only on Saturday, December 6, at 1 p.m. No dancing required. They are seeking 20 actors, ages 16 plus for principal roles.
Be warmed and ready to dance, wear tight fit dance clothes and jazz shoes or sneakers. Tap shoes are a plus. Prepare one complete song in the style of the show and bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided. Bring picture and resume.
Rehearsals begin in December and then pick up in January. Dance rehearsals will be on Saturdays from 1 to -5 p.m. and Sundays from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Downstage Center Dance Studio in Morrisville, PA. The Princeton Senior Resource Center is offering “Total Brain Health Solutions,” a pilot program designed to engage the mind, body, and spirit for better brain health. Soni Pahade, a gerontologist, facilitates.
