Geltzer Family Foundation is set to present Trenton Area Soup Kitchen’s 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award to Hopewell resident Jan Curran.
The award honors individuals who have taken volunteer service to the highest level and have demonstrated a lifelong commitment to build better communities and advance public well-being.
Curran has volunteered with TASK for more than 25 years in several different capacities.
On an annual basis, she donates hundreds of hours organizing and overseeing TASK’s food pantry, which distributes hundreds of items to TASK patrons. She is also an active member of the TASK development committee and served on the board of trustees for two years.
The foundation is set to present the award at the second annual board of trustees event, scheduled for Feb. 22 at McCarter Theatre. The event includes dinner, the award presentation and a performance by Take 6, an a cappella group.
Tickets are $150.
