On December 15 the West Windsor branch of the Mercer County Library System hosted a very successful author talk by Obama biographer Dinesh Sharma, author of “Barack Obama in Hawaii and Indonesia: The Making of a Global President.”
A resident of West Windsor, Sharma, who is an associate research professor at SUNY-Binghamton, discussed his new book, “The Global Obama: Crossroads of Leadership in the 21st Century,” edited by Sharma and Professor Uwe P. Gielen.
Offering incisive observations about President Obama’s leadership style as it relates to foreign policy, Sharma also discussed the cultural, historical, and political analyses from journalists and social scientists from around the world. There was a lively question-and-answer session following the lecture. The event was attended by more than 50 people.
