The 100 percent Handcrafted fair set to return for the eighth year.
Proceeds from the fair benefit Robbinsville High School’s Raven Players, theatre students, and Raven Regiment Band. Last year’s event raised $5,000.
This year’s event has expanded to include more than 110 unique crafters and artisans. On tap for this year are repeat crafters such as EDZ Turns, Keystone Kettle Corn and Krilly Creations. New vendors include ABC Letter Art, Oddgirl Enterprises and Clean Bean Soaps.
Cafe Jacque will be serving homemade menu items such as soups, chili, pulled pork sandwiches and fresh baked goods.
The event also features door prize giveaways and the crafters’ raffle.
Raven Players will be doing face painting for a small donation.
While the event has no admission fee, shoppers can get a free raffle ticket for the crafters’ raffle in exchange for a toiletry item that will be donated to the Robbinsville Food Pantry.
Handcrafted is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 15 at Robbinsville High School, 155 Robbinsville Edinburg Road, Robbinsville.
The Raven Players and Regiment band programs are extracurricular and sponsored by parent groups. Planning for this annual event starts a year in advance with committee members planning, organizing, updating websites, compiling vendors, advertising for shoppers and recruiting volunteers. Vendor applications are voted on by several members at committee meetings.
