The Mercer County One-Stop Career Center has been working with Amazon to begin filling its ranks for the soon-to-open fulfillment center in Robbinsville.
In addition to looking for new talent, the career center plans to help match job seekers already in its database with possible careers at Amazon.
Beginning March 28, Amazon is set to accept applications for its dock clerk and trainer positions and in late April begin filling fulfillment associate and lead fulfillment associate positions.
Job applications, along with job descriptions and company information, can be found on the county website, nj.gov/counties/mercer/job/amazon.html.
Mercer County One-Stop Career Center is actively supporting Amazon’s recruiting and sourcing activities, and the county Economic Development Office has arranged for Amazon to conduct live interviews in the coming weeks. Potential candidates who have successfully completed the online application and are advanced by Amazon’s job fulfillment team will be invited to interview locally.
Amazon indicates to Mercer County executive Brian Hughes that not all open roles have been posted and that potential employees should check back often. The county website will be updated with new information is available.
“Candidates who might not qualify for the dock clerk and trainer positions should not be disappointed, as Amazon indicates it will gradually fill hundreds of other positions as it builds its inventory at the Robbinsville site,” Hughes said in a statement.
The Mercer County One-Stop Career Center is located at 26 Yard Ave., Trenton.
