Confrontation by William Vandever is part of D&R Greenway’s Oasis and Mirage exhibition.
D&R Greenway Land Trust is set to hold a flower arranging event called “The Art of Real Flowers” on April 24 from 6 to 8 p.m.
At the event, which is for both amateurs and professionals, participants will create floral designs in the art galleries of D&R Greenway to evoke a favorite work of art in the “Oasis and Mirage” exhibition, viewable on site or online.
The arrangements will be juried by Diana Moore, the art curator of D&R Greenway, among others and first, second and third prizes will be awarded.
Participants must bring their own materials or order at cost through the event sponsor, Monday Morning Flower and Balloon Company.
The fee for the event is $10.
The Flower Show featuring the previous night’s creations takes place April 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a wine and cheese reception costing $25.
D&R Greenway is located at 1 Preservation Place, Princeton.
