According to Princeton Police, several road closures are scheduled for upcoming events.

The Stuart School is set to host a 5k race on the roadways in the area around the school on May 3.
Several roads are scheduled to be closed beginning at 8 p.m. until the race is finished (approximately 45-60 minutes).
On Saturday, May 3, 2014, The Stuart School will host a 5k race to be held on the roadways in the area around the school. As a result, street closures will be necessary during the event. The following roads will be closed beginning at 8:00am until the race finish (approximately 45-60 minutes).
Stuart Road is set to be closed between Great Road East and Bouvant Drive. Bouvant Drive is set to be closed between Cherry Hill Road and Stuart Road. The entire length of White Oak Road is set to be closed.
Local residents will be allowed access to and egress from homes in the race area at the discretion of officers and race officials, with the safety of the race participants being paramount.

The annual Fire Department Inspection Parade is set to begin 7 p.m. May 3.
Chestnut Street is set to be closed between Nassau and Spruce street beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Nassau Street is set to be closed between Chestnut Street and Monument Hall beginning at 7 p.m. Intersections on Nassau Street along the parade route will be closed during the event and will be re-opened as is practical as the parade passes by.
Streets are set to be closed until the parade ends.
In addition, parking will not be permitted on the south side of Stockton Street between Bayard Lane and Library Place during the event. Emergency ‘No Parking’ signs will be posted in the area.
The designated detour around the parade area is set to be posted as Hamilton Avenue, Wiggins Street, Paul Robeson Place with the aid of signs, barricades and officers posted to assist with the flow of traffic.

Quaker Road is set to be closed between Mercer Street and Nassau Park Boulevard 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 4 for Cyclovia. The road is to be closed to vehicle traffic for a cycling event
The designated detour for this event is set to be Province Line Road to Mercer Street.
