A daughter was born to Andrew Feldman and Alicia DeLorenzo on April 23. Salinger Jane’s big sister is Sophie, 2.

Feldman, WW-P High School, Class of 1998, is the owner of Cranbury Bookworm. Grandparents include Jane and Lawrence Feldman of Plainsboro and Diane and Paul DeLorenzo of Toms River.

Donald Martz, 88, of Columbus died April 15. Born in Pennsylvania, he lived in the West Windsor area for most of his life. A Navy veteran, he served during World War II. He worked for RCA Astro/GE in East Windsor for 40 years.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Gladys Martz; his brother, Duane of West Windsor; his sons and daughters-in-law, David and Lynne, and Larry and Susan; his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and George Costantini; his granddaughters, Jennifer Martz, and Dana Petrone and her husband, Edward; and his sister-in-law, Alice Drugan of Wisconsin. Interment was at Dutch Neck Cemetery in West Windsor. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville 08691.

William A. Baumgartner Sr., 76, of Citrus Springs, Florida, died April 15. An Army veteran, he was a conservation officer for the State of New York. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Gary Sawyers of West Windsor; and grandchildren, Grace and Gary Sawyers.

Bernice Sarah McGrath Tantum, 89, of Monroe died April 17 at the Elms of Cranbury. She and her late husband, Myron, lived in Edinburg for more than 40 years and ran Village Pantry, the general store from the late 1950s to the early 1970s.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the first of seven children. Tantum completed a junior engineering program at the University of Pennsylvania, and worked as a draftswoman at the Frankford Arsenal, where she designed parts for artillery shells. She later worked in the Princeton area in the development of rockets and space technology.

Tantum became interested in art and added an antiques store section to the general store, and also executed a large mural of a Revolutionary War setting, including a portrait of General George Washington, on behalf of the Princeton American Legion Post 76 to celebrate the 200-year anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Nat; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Joan; her children and their spouses, Myron Jr. and Maureen, Daniel and Christine, and Sarah and Charles; and seven grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth, Charles, Matthew, Alexander, Ted, and Jillian.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 24, at the Nativity of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monroe. Donations may be made to John W. Robert D. Kehoe, 82, of West Windsor died April 17 at University Medical Center of Princeton in Plainsboro. Born in New York City, he was raised in Princeton. He attended and graduated from Princeton High School, Lawrenceville Prep, and Duke University. An Army veteran, he was a salesman for CCL Label before his retirement.

Kehoe was a former elder with Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church. A marathon runner, he completed the New York, Boston, Maine, and Bermuda marathons. He volunteered his time coaching baseball, basketball, and football.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Carol Kehoe-Kazakoff and Stephen Kazakoff, Sharon and Gerry LaForge, Kristen and Stephen McCormick, and Kevin Kehoe and his fiance, Gladys Llantoy; his grandchildren, Laura, Samantha, and Katherine McCormick, Kyle and Kade LaForge, and Donovan Kazakoff; his nieces and nephews; and his companion, Shelia Davidson.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 23, at Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church. Donations may be made to Mercer County Wildlife Center, Box 161, Titusville 08560; or APAW Animal Placement Agency of the Windsors, Box 162, West Windsor 08550.

June Pearl Van Dyke, 88, of Jamesburg died April 18 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was a secretary for Franklin Township Board of Education.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Darrel Luty; her sons and daughters-in-law Kevin and June; and Kyle and Merry; her grandchildren Kim, Jason, Justin, Ashley, Shannon, Greyson, and Ryder; and great-grandchildren George, Kelly, Amanda, Jaiden, and Kileigh. A memorial service was held at the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck on April 23.

Mae Grady, 91, of Clark died April 20. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Michael Shorr or West Windsor. Donations may be made to St. John the Apostle Church, 1805 Penbrook Terrace, Linden 07036.

Gloria Dube, 85, of Boynton Beach, Florida, died April 20. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she studied fashion design, illustration, and interior design at Fashion Institute of Technology.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ilene Dube and Mark Schlawin of West Windsor; grandchildren Justin Schlawin and Everett Schlawin; and great-grandson Merlin Schlawin Whittlesey. Donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County.

Carol A. Katona, 72, of Hamilton died April 21 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she earned her associate degree in business administration at Mercer County Community College. She was a metals manager with Johnson and Johnson Dental and a lobbyist for the Association of NJ Rifle and Pistol Clubs.

A licensed master falconer for more than 20 years, she belonged to the Jersey Falconry Club and the North American Falconry Club. An officer for 35 years at the Citizens Rifle and Revolver Club in West Windsor, she served as president for 21 years, established many programs and improvements to the club and its facilities.

Survivors include her husband, Garson (Gary) Katona; and her daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Mark Follmer. Donations may be made to Citizens Rifle and Revolver Club of NJ, Box 659, West Windsor 08550, for the continuation of Women’s Day at the Range.

Sarah ‘Sally’ Anne Ross, 67, of West Windsor died April 23. Born and raised in New Hampshire, she received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Lake Forest College and began her editing career as a proofreader for NASA in Houston, Texas. After Ross moved to West Windsor with her family in 1989, she worked as a medical editor for Bristol-Myers Squibb, Rosetta, and U.S.1 newspaper.

Ross was also author of “Historic Texas Hotels and Country Inns,” a quilter with the Turtle Creek Quilt Guild, and an active member of the Princeton United Methodist Church, where she sang soprano for the choir, served on numerous committees, and assisted with countless fundraisers.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Phillips of West Windsor; daughters, Claire M. Phillips of Washington, D.C., and Grace C. Phillips of Dunedin, New Zealand; her stepson, Andrew Phillips of New Orleans, Louisiana; her sister, Nancy Allen of Lawrenceville, Georgia; and her brother, Donald Ross of East Kingston, New Hampshire.

Beatrice B. Meyers, 94, of Plainsboro died April 27 at the University Medical Center in Plainsboro. Born in Newark, she was a longtime resident of Union and Monroe.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Beverly of Monroe; Eric of Chicago, Illinois; a sister, Eleanor Borow of Monroe; and five grandchildren. Donations may be made to Ruth Estrin Goldberg Memorial for Cancer Research, Box 194, Springfield 07081.

Martin S. Kapp, 90, of West Windsor died April 27 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis in Trenton. Born in Hamilton, he was a lifelong area resident and was a principal account adjuster for the Lottery Commission of New Jersey for many years.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Mort Lovelace; his sons, Steven Kapp and John Kapp and his wife, Kathy; his brother, Paul Kapp; his grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Darren Stafford, 22, of West Windsor died May 27 in his residence in State College, Pennsylvania. He was a 2010 graduate of High School South, where he was a star hockey player. Stafford was a student at Penn State and a financial representative intern at Northwestern Mutual. A senior, he was studying business marketing and economics at the university’s Smeal School of Business. He is survived by his parents, Darius and Reshma Stafford.
