Mercer County is seeking art submission from residents age 60 or older to the annual Mercer County Senior Art Show, which will take place from July 16 to 31 at the Meadow Lakes Springpoint Senior Living Facility in East Windsor.
All artwork must be original work of the applicant, created within the last three years and not entered in any past Mercer County Senior Art Shows.
One piece of art may be submitted in any one of the following categories: acrylic, craft, digital imagery, drawing, mixed media, oil, pastel, photography, print, sculpture and watercolor.
Professional and non-professional first-place winners in each category from the Mercer County show will automatically move on to the State Show taking place September 25 through October 30. The juror for this year’s show is artist/curator Dallas Piotrowski.
Completed registration forms must be received in the Mercer County Office on Aging by June 23.
There is no entry fee.
Artwork must be delivered by the artist or their representative to Meadow Lakes on July 14, 2014, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
