Five girls and five boys were selected by the administration at Hopewell Valley Central High School as outstanding seniors in the Class of 2014.
The Hopewell Valley is known for its talented and ambitious youth, and this year’s graduating class does nothing to dispel that reputation. The well-rounded students — many of whom filled leaderships roles in their extracurricular activities or participated in varsity sports during high school — have designs on doing everything from writing books and movie scripts to starting their own companies to becoming influential in the realm of astrophysics.
Interestingly, while these 10 students plan to attend 9 different schools, all have decided to stay in the Northeast. Only one college will be welcoming more than one member of this group: McGill University, which is in Montreal.
The high school administration selected these 10 students based on criteria that were not provided. The students are listed alphabetically.
