So Percussion is set to present several performances in conjunction with its sixth annual Summer Institute.

The So Percussion Summer Institute is an intensive two-week chamber music seminar for college-age percussionists and composers. The four members of So Percussion serve as faculty in rehearsal, performance and discussion of contemporary music.

In 2014, SoSI will focus on the intersection between percussion and electronics, a relationship that goes back to many of the masters of the art form such as Cage, Varese, and Reich.
