Kids Bridge to the Arts Camp is returning in August for another week of summer fun for area youth.
The multi-arts summer camp is being offered to children of Trenton and surrounding areas through the cooperative efforts of local arts educators. This year’s theme is diversity.
Camp activities include music, art, dance and drama lessons. The innovative programs have been developed by experienced arts educators who work with Trenton area non-profit organizations like Kidsbridge, Artworks, Trenton Children’s Chorus, Egun Omode African Dance and Passage Theatre.
Kids Bridge To The Arts Camp is staffed by experienced arts educators with teenagers serving as counselors to assist artists. The teens were selected based upon their potential for leadership and experience in the arts.
Partial funding for this year’s multi-arts camp is being provided by various community organizations including the Rose and Louis H. Linowitz Foundation, Christine’s Hope for Kids, the Louis B. Boxer Fund and a Deerwood C. C. Community fundraiser.
