Princeton Learning Cooperative is looking for volunteers to work with its teen members for the upcoming academic year.
PLC volunteers work with members in a variety of academic and non-academic areas through tutoring, leading classes or activities or offering one-time workshops.
PLC helps teens live and learn without school by creating a personalized education based on their interests, goals and abilities.
The organization is interested in any volunteer who has a passion to work with teens, but is specifically looking for volunteers in several subjects.
These subjects include linguistics, writing, math, chemistry, nature, meteorology, anatomy, geology, evolution, marine biology, animal behavior, psychology, military history, history of weapons, world history, philosophy, ancient history, Japanese, German, Korean, Swedish, Chinese, French, Italian, Spanish, C++ programming, architecture, computer projects, DIY projects, computer science, 3D printing, technical drawing, engineering mechanics, ceramics, animation, accordion, piano, harp, film-making, survival training and cooking.

PLC is set to host an open house for families interested in knowing more about its innovative approach to learning 7 p.m. Aug. 28 at PLC, 16 All Saints Road, Princeton.
