A Phenomenal Animals actor prepares for the group’s Blood Rite at the Horror House performances at Odd Act’s Warehouse Theater in October.
The Phenomenal Animals are set to present Blood Rite at the Horror House from Oct. 11-26.
The interactive performance includes a self-guided tour through a a mysterious maze created by the sociopathic bone creatures.
Throughout the tour, the story of a girl undergoing an occult initiation unfolds. The bone creatures attempt to subdue and control the girl, but the blood creatures arrive—painted in gore—to drive them back and draw the girl into their frenzied blood ritual.
The production is directed by Rob C. Thompson. The cast features Sarah Knittel, Devin Arroyo, Julie McNamara, Laura Kuhen, Sandra Carson-Price, Hayley Gronenthal, Nick Kianka, Gabriella Lucci, Vince Valdora, and Angelina Paoline.
Original sound is by experimental jazz musician and composer Daniel Lehner.
The Horror House scheduled to be open 8 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26.
Performances are set to take place at at Odd Act’s Warehouse Theater, 200 Whitehead Road, Hamilton.

The Phenomenal Animals are an ensemble of artists who also serve as the lead instructors for the Hamilton-based educational theatre company Odd Act Theatre Group. Members of the ensemble have created original professional productions in London, Montreal, Edinburgh, Princeton, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC, as well as, more than a dozen community and student productions in the greater Trenton area.
