Two presenters are set to speak at Princeton Photography Club’s October meeting.
Curator of photography at the Princeton University Art Museum Katherine Bussard is set to talk about the museum’s future plans and New Jersey artist Michael Massaia is set to conduct a question and answer session about his process and work.
Massaia plans to bring 20×24 split toned silver gelatin prints framed and large platinum prints about 32×42 framed from his galleries in NYC. Michael uses an 8×10 camera and hand prints all the work himself. One of his most recent projects Seeing the Black Dog-New Jersey Turnpike won a Hearst 8×10 award.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct 9 at D&R Greenway’s Johnson Education Center, 1 Preservation Place, Princeton.
Throughout the year, the Princeton Photography Club presents a variety of guest speakers and numerous workshops dealing with all aspects of photography as an art form. The club is scheduled to meet the second Wednesday of each month, September through June.
