West Windsor needs leadership with a proven track record. When Penn’s Neck was being negatively affected by the no left turn debacle at Washington road and Route 1, I stood up for my neighborhood and began Smart Traffic Solutions along with other members of the community. I knew the only way to be heard was to bring everyone together, and with Mayor Hsueh’s support, I spoke with Senators, Congressmen, Council members, Freeholders, neighboring Mayors, residents, and was invited to the Central Jersey transportation forum.
People are sick and tired of government bickering and not accomplishing anything. Through my dedication and determination I was able to bring everyone together. As a result, I was able to get the attention of Commissioner Simpson of the NJDOT and have the trial program stopped. Now, substantial improvements are being planned for Route 1 instead of the Band-Aid fix they tried the first time around. As Simpson told me “we are very fortunate to have Mayor Hsueh as our mayor.” “He is very well respected at the state level and is capable of getting things done.”
[I have seen many towns across this country as a former airline pilot and my experience in these towns will be an asset if elected to township council. In my travels I have witnessed firsthand what works and what doesn’t when it comes to cities and towns. I have also had extensive training in crew resource management. This training and is designed to help a crew work together as a team to make rational decisions under strenuous circumstance. My training coupled with real world experience will be an invaluable asset for the West Windsor Township Council in making tough decisions.
Strong, proven leadership, experience and a working together philosophy is what this town will need in the next four years. I will work hard to bring these qualities if elected as your township councilman.
