Princeton Academy soccer team broke a school record and made history this season.
This year’s soccer A team won nearly every game it played, making it the first soccer team in Princeton Academy history to take home 10 wins out of the 11-game season.
They set the tone for their success in their first game where they defeated Princeton Day School 8-0, with six different players scoring goals. By the end of the season, nine different players scored a total of 52 goals – surpassing the school’s previous record of 33 goals.
The A team also began the season without conceding a goal in more than 170 consecutive minutes. The team gave up its first goal in their fourth game against Pennington. The team conceded eight goals all season.
The B team also made strides on the field. They ended the season with a 3-7-1 record, the best record for the B team since 2009.
